 Westgate Resorts - Come live the dreamPublished 6/14/2006
David A. Siegel, Founder, President, and CEO of Westgate Resorts, the world’s largest privately held Timeshare company, and Robert Earl Co-Chairman of Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino announced today a partnership to develop a 52 story luxury vacation ownership tower directly connected to the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino complex on the world famous Las Vegas Strip. The partnership brings together two recognized industry leaders committed to providing the highest quality vacation experiences to their guests. The $400,000,000 development will include over 800 two-bedroom premium lock-out suites that will increase the capacity at the resort by allowing unsold residences to be added to the existing hotel room inventory, bringing total available to over 4,000 rooms. The new tower, which will be located on the Southeast corner of the complex, is being designed by the renowned architectural firm of Klai Juba, the same entity collaborating on the conversion of the Aladdin into the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. The 52-story blue glass tower has been designed in a manner to compliment the overall theme of the complex. Construction is slated to begin later this year, with the first suites being made available by New Years Eve 2007. Westgate will immediately begin operating marketing locations inside of The Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino and will construct an approximately 12,000 S.F. Sales Gallery on the Mezzanine level of the Hotel to market and sell the project. |
