Recreatiepark de Wielerbaan is located surrounded by nature in the Veluwe area and close to the historic city of Wageningen. In other words, it's surrounded by nature as well as close to the city. Rent a bicycle at the holiday park and explore the area. Or enjoy the many facilities at the holiday park, such as the heated outdoor swimming pool, various sports and playing fields and the inviting restaurant.
The holiday park is the perfect base camp for visiting the most beautiful spots in the Veluwe area, the Gelderse Vallei and the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. If you prefer to stay near the park, you can enjoy a beautiful walk along the Rhine or visit the pleasant city of Wageningen. The name of the park is derived from the authentic velodrome that is located on the site. This velodrome was built in 1933 and has a rich history, which can be discovered at the park. Its location and facilities make Recreatiepark de Wielerbaan a great holiday destination.
About the surroundings
Recreational park de Wielerbaan has an exceptional location between the Veluwe, Utrechtse Heuvelrug, Gelderse Vallei and Betuwe . This way it is surrounded by a versatile nature and a lot of culture. Within a 20 minutes drive you are at the National Park De Hoge Veluwe, where also the Kröller Müller Museum is. At only three kilometers from the park is the historic city of Wageningen , with an extensive cultural and culinary offer. And to the south of Wageningen you can discover the Betuwe by car or the Lexkesveer. This area is known for the rivers and the horticulture, and has beautiful apple-, pear- and cherry orchards in the high season. De rust en ruimte om de kampeerplekken deden ons allemaal goed.

Nee dat niet, het is een prettig park en de horeca verdient niet het predikaat restaurant maar meer een veredelde frituur waar organisatorisch een verbeter slag nodig is
