Villa Agnes is not a party house and youth groups are not allowedThe charming hamlet of Butkovici offers the perfect opportunity to discover the leisurely, relaxed pace that is still typical of life in rural Istria today. About 15 km away is the attractive Svetvincenat with an impressive medieval stone castle and a good selection of amenities, including a pharmacy, post office and restaurants. Pretty pebble beaches can be found to the north and south of Rovinj (approx. 20 minutes drive). Be sure to visit the capital of the region, Pula, where the largest Roman amphitheater regularly hosts film screenings, cultural events and live concerts by world-renowned artists. 14 km away is Vodnjan, a pretty little town with a clear Venetian influence in its medieval buildings and narrow, winding streets full of stores, cafes and outdoor life. 22 km away is the small town of Fazana with a pretty harbor where you can hire boats and water cabs to the fantastic Brijuni Islands National Park, or swim at the beautiful, clean pebble beach of Fazana.
